Minecraft Dungeons Crashes on launch through minecraft launcher

I just purchased minecraft dungeons through the launcher and I installed it, when I launch MCD it crashes immediately. I've tried reparing the installation and reinstalling it. I also tried restarting my pc but that didn't work either.
