After updating for the new minecarft launcher for windows, all my worlds gone

Hi MOJANG team, so after migrating for the new windows minecarft launcher when i enter minecarft worlds list all of my worlds got missing i tried to restore them and even follow some tutorials but any of those worked, heres the thing when i open the worlds list i get presented with the create a new world menu where that means that minecraft its not recognising any of the worlds folder but at the same time on the suggested name like "new world (1)" it means that it can read the files and see that theres already a world intiteled of "new world".
