After the new update I can't play java because it says "play demo" even tho I own the game

I'm on a 2010 iMac and after the new launcher update that came out on November 1st I can't play minecraft no more because it says I only own the demo and when I press the buy button it says I already own the game, also I can't sign in through my Microsoft because it says "sometimes went wrong in the login process" when I press Microsoft Login
