New Minecraft Launcher Crashes

Yesterday the launcher told me to download a new launcher from the windows store (yuck but fine). So I downloaded the new launcher. Installed it.Opened it. I click Microsoft login and it crashes. I restarted the computer just in case same issue. The old launcher works just fine.
