Minecraft for Windows, News, and Minecraft Dungeons tabs in the Launcher have no page change animation

The bug

When transition animations are turned on and you click on certain tabs whilst on a different tab, Minecraft for Windows, News, and Minecraft Dungeons tabs do not display a transition animation.

How to reproduce

Open the Minecraft Launcher
Change tab to Minecraft for Windows
No tab change animation is played
