Minecraft java not working on new launcher

The new launcher that I had to download keeps saying that I don't own Java edition. When I go to minecraft.net, it says that my account has been migrated and that I don't own java? I own both Java and Bedrock. I did migrate onto the Microsoft account that I had bought bedrock on.. I don't want to undownload the old version of the launcher cause it seems to be the only proof i have at the moment. I tried adding my Microsoft account ( they're the same one though) on the old launcher but they're just separate accounts within the launcher. When I go to manage Microsoft accounts it's the same profile as well.
