The new launcher is telling me to buy Minecraft again.

Hello, I got a message on my Minecraft launcher to upgrade to the one from the Windows 10 store. So, I did. But when I signed in with the same Microsoft account, the new launcher is saying I have to buy the game again.
I bought Minecraft Java with a Minecraft Java gift card from my local retail store, but that payment method shouldn't affect anything.
Also, I do own Minecraft Windows 10 edition, which I bought from the Microsoft Store, and the Minecraft launcher is saying for me to buy it again.

What should I do?

I have tried re-logging into my Microsoft account, but that didn't fix it.

I do not want to re-buy Minecraft, because I have already bought it.
