New Launcher not running / opening

The new launcher from the microsoft store does not run or open when i try to open it. I have checked in task manager when i open it and there are not related processes that show. I have tried restarting my machine, reinstalling the launcher, repairing the launcher, clearing the data, and checking for updates and none have worked.
