Issue with account migration

I just migrated my account and linked my mojang account with my microsoft account. after trying to log into my microsoft account with the launcher it tells me i need to buy the game. but it also tells me my other account owns the game and gives me the option to switch to my mojang account. when i try to log into my mojang account it tells me to log in to my microsoft account because they are linked.
