Launching Bug on Mojang Screen

Any time I try to launch Minecraft, It gets to the Mojang logo screen but then freezes, stops responding, and squishes the whole thing into a corner. I have tried this with both 1.17 and 1.14, but no luck. Please help, I want to play Minecraft!
