Minecraft launcher can't launch Minecraft

I just bought minecraft this month and the first three days of playing it was fine. Starting on 10/15/21 my minecraft launcher can't open the game anymore. When I press play it will show preparing and finalized and then the mojang loading screen will appear, however it will stuck at that loading screen and show not responding when it's loading the last bit. I tried downloading and opening another version and it seems like this is affecting other versions as well. I tried uninstall and reinstall the launcher, restart my laptop, and still can't open it. Does anyone know what's causing this and is there a way to resolve this?
