So, when the snapshots for 1.17 came up as well as the release it self, i was able to play without trouble. Then, starting a few weeks, when ever i'd try playing on any 1.17 or higher version, the game would crash before reaching the menu, with the message "An unexpected issue occurred and the game has crashed. We're sorry for the inconvenience. Exit Code: 0".

 

I tried many things, the main one that i found out about was that the caves and cliffs update requires Java Development Kit (jdk), and i tried using the 16.0.1 version, as well as the 16.0.2 and 17 versions, i also tried selecting the java executable in the installation edit, not selecting the java executable, using jvm arguments i found online and nothing worked (actually not selecting the java executable worked but then a few hours latter stopped working god knows why). I even tried uninstalling Java 8 and having only jdk installed, as well as re-installing the whole game, rebooting my notebook, updating my drivers, and checking for any incompatible programs, and still, nothing worked. Please help!
