Unable to launch Realms due to 'account error' message

Last update caused a "unable to join realms due to account settings" on Xbox. However, no settings had changed prior, during, or after the update. All suggested steps have been taken to try and resolve this but nothing has worked.
Subs are up to date for both gold and realms
