Unable To Save Skin

Whenever I try duplicating or adding a new skin to my library, it always says that it's unable to save the skin whether I hit save or save & use. The only skins that I have in my library are the two default skins. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the launcher and made sure I'm not using the beta version of the launcher. This issue has been here for months but has only become a bigger problem now that I've migrated my account and want to use my cape. Is there anyway I could work around this or?
