Minecraft Version Purchases

Hello,

I have owned minecraft java edition for a long time and I have been very satisfied with the game. However there are some account issues I have been having following attempted purchase of a different version, Bedrock. I own bedrock on my Nintendo switch, and was looking to purchase it for my computer too since it would run it better when I play at home. However, since I had purchased the game on a Mojang account for Java on the computer and Bedrock on the switch through a microsoft account, I figured there wouldn't be a problem purchasing Bedrock on my computer for my Microsoft Account. Since I purchased the game, I have not been able to play or access it for some reason, I believe the Launcher said I needed to purchase the full version through Microsoft, which doesn't make sense. Any help would be appreciated.
