Launcher logs out account even tho the remember me box is ticked

When i start up the minecraft launcher I always get logged out.
This only occurs after a restart of the computer.
It also asks me for my "login keyring" (which is the password I use to log into the computer) because it "wasn't unlocked".
This isn't a major issue but it seems like something mojang should just fix because it is annoying so i'm sorry if this is wasting your time.
I run the arch linux AUR version of minecraft if that helps.
