Won't let me download/pay for game

Hello! So I am currently trying to download minecraft onto my MacBook and am having some issues. I already have it on my phone and I have a microsoft account, so I went to the Minecraft website to pay for it, but every time I submit the payment, it tells me an error has occurred and to please check my payment information. I have checked it multiple times and everything appears to be right. I got the Minecraft app downloaded to my computer, but it still will not open up the playing option or the option for me to pay for it and I'm not sure what to do.
