My Son's Minecraft Java Edition Wont Dam Load

He maybe has a bug in the launcher, and he tried downloading the game with the game launcher, it worked, but when he went to download for real, it said it went terribly wrong and it probably had a bug and it said to try again, he tried it again and again, and he gave up and decided for me to make an issue about his game.
