I just bought minecraft and transfered it to another computer and it says that it has a bug

I just bought minecraft and transfered it to another computer. I downloaded the minecraft launcer and it said that has a bug and I cannot play. Also I have Windows 7. So, if it has anything to do with this bug, please inform so I can upgrade Windows.
