Mojang Loading Screen Won't Load

The Minecraft launcher works perfectly fine, however, once I hit play and it takes me to the red Mojang loading screen, it only ever gets a little past 3/4 of the way before stopping. I'm really not sure what is even causing this issue, let alone how to fix it.
