Launcher doesn't appear

I click on the Minecraft link, and nothing happens.

What I expected to happen was...:
The launcher to open.

What actually happened was...:
It didn't open.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Double click your Minecraft shortcut.
2. It doesn't open.
3. Bingo.
