Launcher Not Loading

I have been using the 1.3.4 launcher for a fair few game sessions then suddenly it started showing up like this (see attached screenshot). At first I was able to click in the black area at the bottom and still run the game but after using that roughly 5 times, that has stopped working.
I'm not sure if this is just me or if anyone else is getting this problem but it's not useful.
