Changing Working Directory

So a few mothes ago I was having a problem with my minecraft launcher crashing.

I did end up finding out what was causing it but I have not fixed it.

The game ended up crashing because of my user account having an "!" in the name.

A moderator then sent a link to someone else that has been having the same issue.

In that link there was another link that sends you to a guide to change your work directory.

I thought that I was going to be able to fix the issue but also found out that the game is not a ".exe" file for some reason. Here is a link to the "fix" https://minecrafthopper.net/help/guides/changing-work-directory/
