Can't connect to Multi Player world after account migration to Microsoft

I was asked today to migrate my Mojang account to Microsoft in order to sign in to Minecraft.  But now I can't connect anymore to Multiplayer worlds. Single-player no problem.

I get an error message stating 'failed login: null'.
