Cannot login to minecraft java edition after migration to microsoft

I cannot login into minecraft java edition after migrating to microsoft. After the migration the original login is not working. I keep getting error the account has been migrated to microsoft and i need to use that for login. Any help? I'm using minecraft on macOS.
