Launcher failing or refusing to start on Debian 10
I downloaded the Minecraft.deb directly from the alternative download page on minecraft.net, and installed it as normal with apt, accepting all of the dependencies.
I opened the launcher, waited for a loading bar at the top of the window, logged into my Mojang account, and when I got to the front page of the launcher it said something along the lines of "Something's wrong with your launcher" in the middle of the screen, I tried to close and reopen the launcher, but nothing happened. Nothing is sent to stdout when I run it in a terminal, either.
I have tried deleting my uninstalling (making sure to remove it's dependencies aswell), deleting my .minecraft, and reinstalling, but it behaved exactly as it did before reinstalling, I can't even get to that first login page again.
All that's in the .minecraft directory is an empty "launcher" directory, and the "bootstrap-log.txt", which I have attached, it shows a single error which might be notable:
[Error: 2021-07-08 04:52:46.122475775: Settings.cpp(40)] Failed to determine configuration file size: No such file or directory
Thank you
