Minecraft launcher needs to be fixed completely

Every time when I press play in the minecraft launcher, I get stuck on the Mojang loading screen, forcing me to have to exit out of it where it'll crash. I have found a solution to play with it, but as a result, my skin won't show. I've tried everything to make the launcher work right, but nothing's working. Help Me!!!
