Why Is My Minecraft Launcher Not Having The Stuff It Should Usually Have?

so i installed the dropper mod thats for 1.7.10 then i was ready to play then all the sudden it didnt want to show the actual things that are gonna have so i was like "huh Interesting" so uh anyone explain this?
