Minecraft Launcher not letting me play

Minecraft Launcher said I need to buy the actual Minecraft Java and told me to play demo instead. But I have bought it and it has worked before. And I was logged in to the launcher. When I closed it and tried to reopen it to see if it would help, it is now not even opening the launcher, it is not even bouncing up and down, or even showing the loader circle. I have tried repairing the app, did not work.
