I'm trying to download minecraft on my Chromebook using the Debian/Ubuntu version but there's an installation error.

I'm running Linux and crostini gpu support so it should work. I keep running into an installation error that says "minecraft-launcher: Depends: default-jre but it is not". I've tried running various commands on Linux and my Chromebook is up-to-date. I made sure linux is also up-to-date. I'm unsure if i got the version right because it didn't provide a Debian/Ubuntu option.
