after updating the launcher it said failed to install the game

today I was updating the minecraft dungeons launcher being exited to try the new seasonal challenges how every when ever I update it  it said failed to install

 

how to reproduce 

1. update the launcher
2. it will say failed to install,this might only work on windows and not consoles
3. I tried to uninstall it then reinstall it and it still didn't work
