Minecraft Launcher won't work.

It's been nearly two months and to this day, I still can not play Minecraft. I click play on the Launcher and the loading screen starts. . . and that's it. The loading bar starts then stops about halfway there. I have spent 20 minutes waiting for the game to load and it just won't.
