I can't activate Multiplayer

I bought the official version of Minecraft and I'm trying to play with my friends but I can't.

I called an IT technician who tried to activate it, because we thought it was a problem with my computer's configuration, but he said that it is ok and that I should check with the game support.

Could you check the reason why I am unable to activate the multiplayer function?
