Launcher Stays Running

Sometimes when you exit out of the game, the Minecraft launcher process stays running with no window. I have "Keep the Launcher open while games are running" disabled, so it should close. This makes it so that when you click on the dock icon, nothing happens. This can be fixed by running 

killall launcher
