crashing

I bought a Minecraft java edition account a couple of days ago and installed it along with Java. It worked normally for a couple of hours until it suddenly crashed. From that point, whenever I tried to load up the Minecraft launcher, it would always crash on the red Mojang screen. Does anyone know how to fix this?
