Launcher shows grey screen upon loading

When I open my launcher, it shows only a grey screen. This happened the day after my computer updated to the Windows 10 version (10.0.19042). I've looked at many forums, and it seems like lots of other people have this problem as well, but no one has found a solution (that I've seen). I've tried many different things - troubleshooting incompatibility issues, deleting MC files, completely uninstalling, and reinstalling the game. So far, nothing has made a dent.
