Error: Could not find or load main class net.minecraft.client.main.Main

After i bought a new pc and tried to install Minecraft I keep getting the same error message.

Error: Could not find or load main class net.minecraft.client.main.Main

Process crashed with exit code 1

I already tried to re-installing Minecraft and it the same thing happened. I checked my drivers, my java version everything up to date. Nothing that I have tried to do helps. I even tried to copy and transfer all files from my desktop. that didn't help either. 

I tried to switch the compatibility to older windows version with no luck.
