Upon reinstalling Minecraft Java, the audio quality has significantly dropped. The audio sounds louder and muffled.

After reinstalling Minecraft due to launcher issues (which seem to be resolved now) the audio in the game no longer has the same quality it did previously. My earbuds are not the issue as they sound fine with other applications on my computer. I've reinstalled Minecraft again but the audio problem still remains.
