UNABLE TO UPDATE THE NATIVE MINECRAFT LAUNCHER

every time I try to access the Minecraft launcher, it updates but just before the update ends, the Minecraft updater says it's unable to update the native Minecraft launcher. I tried removing Minecraft launcher and downloading it again, and repairing it but neither of those worked pls help
