Launcher can't update at all

Hello, the bug I'm reporting is that my launcher will not update (native launcher) for some reason
(provided image) I have good wifi, lots of memory and yet it's not updating. it stops at 80-90% on the bar and I currently can't update the launcher so I can't play Minecraft
