Launcher won't load

Ever since the launcher updated, It's been stuck to a black screen for 1 hour until the components load as seen down below. I've looked around and I see that the launcher is taking up 100% of disk capacity, taking up 22.5 MB/s. This performance Issue only happens when the MC Launcher is launched. How is it that the Launcher itself is taking up more disk performance space than the games themselves, and OBS, and any other large-sized games?
