Launcher stuck in preparing state when trying to launch rRLcraft

When I try to launch RLcraft from curseforge it works fine and opens the MClauncher, but when I click play, it starts loading and when it gets to the preparing stage, its stuck there. I've waited a long time and nothing happens. Please help
