Minecraft launcher is completely freezing my pc

So when I use Minecraft launcher to launch  Minecraft, it fully freezes the screen, and doesn't respond to any mouse clicks or key inputs. I have tried to reset windows, update drivers, but still using Minecraft launcher was a problem. I have played other games, it works. It's just Minecraft launcher that failed. Pls help ASAP thx.
