It will not open minecraft java edition

it started it but it is still not letting me play the full version. I paid the 26 bucks. I paid the full price for it. It will not let me start it. I do not know why but it won't let me. It just says play demo. It will let me launch the demo but it will not let me play the full thing. I need help with this.
