Minecraft Launcher will not work; Always says "downloading"

There is a bug that has been going on since Feb. 22, 2021, and for some reason whenever I press launch on the Minecraft launcher, it just says in its loading position and the system recognizes it as "downloading," and I have proof in the image provided. I have tried loading Minecraft in 1.16, 1.8.9, and the launcher still won't load.

 

Edit: The Minecraft launcher works! However, it took a very long process to launch the Minecraft software. If you have the same problem, just wait for the launcher to load, even if it takes hours. For me, after I clicked "play," it probably around an hour and a half for the "downloading" process. Very weird bug, but all I had to do was wait for a long time and be patient with it.
