Minecraft Launcher not loading

Minecraft won't launch in either Windows 10 or Java editions on new ibuypower PC of only few months, with Windows 10 version 20H2, OS build 19042.804. Suggestion on Minecraft site of adding MFP (media feature pack) isn't present in Settings/Apps/Optional Features. Downloading Java 8 separately and then Minecraft also doesn't work. No error message. After download, nothing opens. Minecraft Demo version launched correctly yesterday. Please advise!
