Loading screen lock

When I open the launcher and click play the loading screen comes up and gets just close to the end but never loads and leaves it stuck like that I've looked for many videos non of which really help the only solution I found was to load it on the old launcher but obviously that is very outdated now I've checked anti virus and updating graphics card but it doesn't seem to work if anyone knows a solution please help
