Everytime I try to login, it says either I have invalid credentials or it cannot connect to their servers.

Every time I try to log in to Minecraft Launcher, it says either I have invalid credentials or it cannot connect to their servers. This issue has persisted for a few days now. I have followed every article on the Minecraft website but nothing seems to work. I even left the game alone for 24 hours to see if it just needed to authenticate my account but still nothing. I use the Java Edition for Minecraft and when I first got it in December, it worked just fine, but I haven't played it for the month of January and now it doesn't work. I would appreciate any assistance with this problem. Thanks
