Goes to red screen then only loads about half to 3/4 of the way

I launch the game and it pops up the red loading screen then it loads to about half or 3/4 of the way and stops n doesn't load anymore. I've never had problems with Minecraft until late last year so I haven't been able to play it which sucks cuz I love the game.

I then get this error message after I click back into it and it then crashes. :/
