Failed to authenticate user glitch or computer problem???

Whenever I launch the game and go to the page the list of servers come up on, it doesn't show up. If I try direct connection it says "Failed to log in: the authentication servers are currently down for maintenance.

This same issue has happened for over a week now. I don't know if there is something wrong with my pc but if anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it.
